In the late 1980's JOHN TWINE a very keen 4WD enthusiast with a background of fitting, turning and engineering, realised there was a need for a hot water heating system which could be used in 4WD'S-CARS-TRUCKS AND BOATS for showering at the end of the day. Because of John's knowledge of metal he turned to COPPER - FOR ITS ABILITY TO TRANSFER HEAT AND ITS STRENGTH for the construction of the heat exchanger. The exchanger is made from 20 gauge copper inside and out and is silver soldered at all joints.

This results in a heat exchanger which is able to withstand the harsh vibrations on the Australian outback roads and the very high temperatures generated under the bonnet of modern vehicles. In fact the heat exchanger can be mounted on the exhaust manifold, without the need of a heat shield, or the worry of it coming apart at the seams.
